Aj is excited to have work included an upcoming exhibition at the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock, Arkansas. Celebrating Trinity Gallery 50 Years of Arkansas Artists will open on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00-9:00 pm. While an RSVP is not required to attend the opening, it is appreciated. Aj and his wife Marjorie Williams-Smith are honored that Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas is hosting their exhibition SHARED VISIONS in the Stevens Art Gallery. The exhibition will be on display from February 27 - March 24, 2023. The gallery is located on the first floor of the Stevens Art & Design Center. The lecture focused on Aj's and Marjorie's experiences as artists, their work process, and their recent exhibition at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. AJS INTERVIEWED FOR LAUREN ROGERS MUSEUM OF ART
Aj had the opportunity to discuss his work in an interview with Kristen Miller Zohn of the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art located in Laurel, Mississippi. Aj's artwork is included in their permanent collection. This interview allowed Aj to talk about his background and the stories behind several of his drawings from the Faces of the Delta series. AJS EXHIBITS WORK AT THE ARKANSAS GOVERNOR'S MANSION
Aj and his wife Marjorie Williams-Smith were honored to have their art work on display at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion. This exhibition ran from July 1 - August 31, 2020. AJ SMITH IS FEATURED IN A NEW FILM
Aj Smith is one of ten artists featured in the new film DELTA 60. This film was created by Matthew Rowe for the Arkansas Arts Center (AAC) and highlights Arkansas artists that were in the 60th Delta Exhibition, held in 2018. The film premiered at the Arts Center on June 28, 2019 which coincided with the closing of the AAC as it prepares for extensive renovations over the next two years.

Aj is honored to have his drawing DELTA BLUES: FACES OF THE DELTA SERIES included in the book Silverpoint and Metalpoint Drawing: A Complete Guide to the Medium which has just been released. This book is authored by Susan Schwalb and Tom Mazzullo, two expert artists in this medium.
